Aurora Borealis, Nome, Alaska
AuroraPage12: Early 18 April 2002. About 01:00 to 03:30 local time. Moderate but colorful auroras sparked by the arrival of an earth-directed CME. After missing out on everything since the 5th of November last year, this felt good. The pristine skies were a nice surprise after a recent blizzard.
Taken in ever-decreasing darkness, this will be my last session this season.
Fuji Provia 400F and Superia 800 films, Nikkor 28mm @f1.4, 8 - 13 seconds.
