Aurora Borealis, Nome Alaska
AuroraPage17: April 2003. On the 8th, the gas cloud from a minor CME passed by Earth. Also present are the effects from a coronal hole on the sun, and wonderful auroras kicked up at about 02:00 ADT. Alaska's growing twilight means ever shorter "nights", and this (with continued effects over the next couple days) may well be my last session this season.
Nikkor 28mm/f1.4, Fuji Superia 800, and Provia 400F films. New: Scroll down to April 10 photos below.

10 April. Beautiful intense geomagnetic storm during 1/2 moon, and just a hint of Alaska's growing twilight. Provia 400F, and 2 to 4 seconds
